The Matrix Night

It was the first night of our trip to Berlin

We went to the matrix club at the Warschauerplatz

We were euphoric and the night was cold

As soon as we went in, we heard the music playing

A lot of us were excited and some didn´t know how they would like it

The club was full on that Monday night in October

It was just students and teachers all over the club

We went to the bar and got some drinks

They didn´t last long, because they spilled at the dancefloor

We went into the dancing crowd and sang the songs which were played

Some of us were sitting in the lounge of the club, not enjoying it that much

While we were dancing and singing it got warmer and warmer

We went outside and felt the cold air on our skins

When we went back in the cold flew away in seconds

We took photos and made memories

We were screaming the songs we all know in the crowd

We got some more drinks and shared them with our friends

We went to the toilets laughing and enjoying the music

Even though the club had two rooms we just were in the main room

It was crowded and from minute to minute it got warmer

No one cared about how they looked

Almost everyone was shouting the songs and feeling the rhythms

Late in the night we went back to our hostel

When we got out of the club we noticed how cold the night really was

On our way to the metro station we talked about the experiences

We got tired suddenly because the adrenaline left our bodies

Back in our hostel we got readyfor bed fast and fell asleep in minutes
