Story
Sydney

>>Taylor! Wake up! You will be late for school<<

At Charlotte’s house, her mother interrupted the sleep of her fourteen-year-old younger sibling. Directly after, her mother accessed her room only to find her not in bed. Weirdly enough, she did not perceive Charlotte’s loud voice in the house last night. Due to the brutality of her post as a nurse in the busiest hospital in Sydney, she would sleep right after returning from work.

>>Taylor, where is Charlotte? I did not hear from her last night<< The mother inquired about her older daughter, but she got a similar expression from her younger daughter >>What! Did she not come home after school?<<

Dorcas, the mother, stood in the room, puzzled that she could not even hear the ringing doorbell. Her younger daughter walked past her to the entrance door. It was their neighbor, Miss Peyton. She is a woman in her late thirties but is still searching for her significant other. Because of her erratic behavior, she is well-known in the neighborhood. She is constantly transmitting the newest news from one house to the other. What would be her business in those early hours? This was the deliberation of Taylor. Miss Peyton seemed disturbed as Taylor scanned her from head to toe. >>Where is your mother?<< Miss Peyton questioned Taylor, who acted unfazed by her presence at their entrance early this morning. Before Taylor could slip out a few words from her mouth, Miss Peyton infiltrated the living room, chanting Dorcas’ name in her mouth. Not very soon, Charlotte’s mother descended to heed what Miss Peyton had to say.

>>Taylor, can you tune the television to channel four?<< The trembling Miss Peyton demanded Taylor, who had just arrived from the entrance. >>What do you mean, Miss Peyton? Taylor here must get ready for school. So can this please be next time?<< Charlotte’s mother responded to Miss Peyton, whose finger was now pointing at the screen of the sixty-inch television.

>>In downtown Sydney, a female student from Davidson High School was massacred yesterday. The chief of the investigating FBI group, Sir Jones, has pronounced the school evidence of the homicide, routing the entire school to a lockdown, much to the misery of parents whose youngsters deserted their homes for school this morning<<

A blond lady on the television disclosed, unsettling the listeners, especially parents and guardians, including Charlotte’s mother, who did not spare a second to appropriately dress and depart with her younger daughter and Miss Peyton to school.

 >>You are implying that Charlotte did not return from school yesterday?<<

An anxious Miss Peyton inquired, staring linearly at the front seat and eventually asking Taylor when her wish to hear an explanation from the mother was not granted.
