Story
Japan 1960 – 1990

This is the story of Japan Airlines 123, the 747 used in this disaster had a hard landing before.

On the next flight from Osaka, it was going really well. They were now at a cruising altitude,

There wasn’t a lot of turbulence in the flight. A few hours later, a loud BANG!

Was heard by the passengers, the plane went up and down. Everyone was shocked.

A few hours later, the cabin pressure warning was heard from the pilots.

The oxygen masks dropped immediately and everyone was shocked.

Soon, the pilots made a call and insured everyone had their masks on.

The pilots then couldn’t steer the plane much and contacted the atc (atc=air traffic control)

One of the flight engineers went to check on the back of the plane. He came back with some

Bad news. At the back of the plane was a massive hole that happened because of the pressure

From the outside and from the inside pushing in different directions, that’s why it broke off.

the pilots wanted to perform an emergency landing but the ATC told them the only way to

make an emergency landing was to go back to Osaka. the pilots wouldnt make it back

Because the plane had been rolling continuously to the left After a few more hours

They decided that they want to make an emergency descent. after a few minutes the plane had

Continuously rolled to the left.

Mountains could be seen ahead.

Flap up flap up flap up! the captain said to gain more speed.

SINKRATE WHOOP WHOOP PULL UP!

Had been heard from the cockpit

The plane had an uncontrollable descent.

They maxed all the engines for power…

but it was too late, the left wing impacted the mountain and flipped upside down. they impacted the mountain and only 4 out of the 200 made it out alive…
