You are the tide of my ocean
May I never escape your gravity
That’s deeply entangled in my sanity
With your love my Icarus wings grew
You stole the gravitational pull of the moon
But like Icarus, too close I came,
And now, I plummet in sorrow’s flame
I hope to be surrounded
And cornered by your existence
Let love leave me dumbfounded
As you take over my systems
I would burn down a village
If it is meant to keep you warm
I would fight in Achille’s armor
If it meant to keep you away from war
You are the silence that falls
Between every heartbeat of mine
It is when my heart is at rest
With your love, it chimes
My love, if I ever lose you one day
The universe will have to ask for my repentance Â
For what would be done
The mosaic of my humanity’s remains would chip away
And will exist as only the fossil of our love
