“You Ninnyhammer pilocking fool!” Bora bellows insults at the laughing witch. “Was that an Insult? How articulate,” The witch said between laughs. Bora continued to scream at her, but the witch was way ahead of the slime, jumping out of the way of an incoming attack. The dryad had a very terrifying expression on its face. “What do we do?” Bora asked anxiously, peeking out of the basket just to freeze at seeing additional dryads. “There’s more!?” She screamed quickly, going back into the basket. Emilia pulled out the potion she had made earlier, making sure to have a tight grip on it. She still gets nightmares of accidently dropping a potion that took a lot of time and money to make. Truly a witch’s worst fear. “Don’t worry, that’s why I made this. I do need to get closer to them though, so if you could maybe stay very still that would definitely be of help.” Emilia said to Bora, slightly out of breath from dodging the dryads attacks. She was lucky that these were low-ranked dryads, or she might have been in a big swamp. She could just try to run away, but that would just mean she would have to deal with them later and that would be annoying, so here and now it was. Taking out her wand, Emilia started to speak incantations while also running to the dryads. “Jejunium, lumen, inviolabile!” Red light started to engulf the witch, and she felt she could fly up to the high heavens with just one leap. So she leapt straight towards the dryads, who startled at Emilia, quickly advancing to them. They tried to grab at the red head with their vines, but she dodged that easily. Coming to their right, Emilia opened the potion before jumping over them. She flips the potion over and successfully covers the dryads with the light blue powder. The dryads screeched, shaking their heads, trying to get the powder off of them, but it was too late. The witch lands with a grunt, signalling to her that her spell is soon going to end. She takes a quick breath and pulls her wand out again, pointing it at the dryads. The three monsters looked even more furious and their faces contorted into an ugly mess. They simultaneously plunged an attack at the witch as her spell lost its light. “Satus!” The witch shouts out, holding her wand hand as still as possible. The dryads freeze up from the top to the bottom right before their attack can reach its intended target. Emilia took a step back. The dryads glistened in the light. “You can peek out its over.” Emilia told Bora, who this whole time was hiding inside the basket without making as much as a rattle just like the witch asked. Emilia watched the slime slowly come up to see what happened. It must have been hard to stay still and make no noise as the witch fought with the basket in hand. “How are you doing? Not feeling sick or anything?” Emilia shows slight concern for the slime but then starts wondering if slime gets sick, which makes her think about if other monster types get it and if they do, how they nurse themselves back to health. This should be studied, and maybe she was the one to do it, but then again she was sure some maniac somewhere out in this big world had already done so. Perhaps she will find something in the library. “-if this wasn’t so cool, literally.” Bora finished. Emilia reels back “Sorry what was that? I didn’t listen.” The witch admits but grins at the pun Bora made. “What, are you tired now or something?” Bora grilled the witch. “From that? No way.” Emilia returned with an upbeat tone.
